Kindergarten campaign

Through regular visits to the "Planet Bambi Forest", the kindergarten children can experience the project theme "Experience the forest and nature" first hand and learn to discover and appreciate the diversity and beauty of nature. They do crafts with natural materials such as leaves, twigs, stones and other natural finds, which not only promotes their creativity, but also teaches them to appreciate nature's resources.

This project is a valuable addition to everyday kindergarten life, providing learning experiences outside the traditional classroom.

This year's Advent magic in the fairytale forest, a cooperation between the Planet Bambi Foundation and the town of Thannhausen, exceeded all expectations as the brilliant highlight of this winter season. Despite the onset of winter and challenging road conditions, the Christmas market attracted numerous visitors from Thannhausen and the surrounding area, who created a warm, lively atmosphere. This event impressively demonstrated how communal festivities can transform even the coldest days into a magical winter experience.

Preparations for the magic of Advent

Preparations for our Advent market are in full swing! All work is underway on the foundation's premises to ensure that this year's Advent market is also a complete success.

Forest Festival on 08-09 July 23

A wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature and spend time together. In bright sunshine, numerous guests came to our grounds and experienced a day full of joy and community. Live music from the Thannhauser and Gessrtshauser music association provided the best entertainment and a good atmosphere.

The money collected goes directly into our foundation's work to further advance our health and nature conservation projects.

Inspired by the fairytale world - organized by the non-profit Planet Bambi Foundation together with the city of Thannhausen - an Advent market has been created in the nostalgic magical forest, which would like to invite all generations to explore and experience

A fairytale cooperation

The fairy tales were recorded exclusively for us by audio book narrator Kati Winter. Kati is a fairy tale researcher and is known for numerous audio books and her successful YouTube channels, where she reads other beautiful fairy tales for children, among other things.

Craft activity

Beautiful decorations made from natural materials, suitable for the Christmas season, were created at the children's workshop in the Planet Bambi workshop. The Thannhausen Child Protection Association was responsible for coordination and implementation.

Making Advent candles

Perfect for the first Advent! The Thannhausen Catholic Youth held a candle workshop in the Planet Bambi workshop. All of the candles were sold successfully and the proceeds went to the KJT. Afterwards, the creative children were able to enjoy a puppet show.

Santa Claus is coming

The kindergarten children of the St. Vinzenz Kindergarten Thannhausen experienced a surprise of a different kind on the grounds of the Planet Bambi Foundation with a visit from Santa Claus and great gifts, punch and gingerbread.

Tour of the collection

The Keltenschlag hunting club viewed with great interest the collection of specimens and trophies of exceptional roebucks, which was built up by Theo Grabowski with great effort in terms of passion, time, hunting skills and craftsmanship as part of his life's work.

Online Book

The Planet Bambi Foundation wants to Project "Clean Hooves" offer an interactive platform to make knowledge about health and prevention accessible to children, students and young people in a playful and, above all, interesting way. The first book is about viruses and bacteria and is available during the beginnings of Corona pandemic to provide digital support in home schooling and to convey the topic in an easy-to-understand way for young and old.
